Terri and Ron have got to be the luckiest couple I’ve had all summer. There wedding was August 7th and the week before there wedding we had several days of over 100 degree weather and a couple days before their wedding it cooled off. You talk about hitting the lottery. When you have an August wedding you expect it to be hot and we had a nice mild low humidity day.
The weather was just the beginning to this wonderful day. Started off meeting the girls at Image Makers in Newburgh. Everything was so relaxed from the very beginning. The ceremony was a simple service at Aldergate then it was on to Rolling Hills Country Club for the reception.
The hardest part of my day was reminding Ron to smile for his formals… “Smile Ron”

Brooke and Cody were last minute arrivals this year. They booked me just this past April, I believe. They got engaged in February and put this beautiful wedding together in 6 months. For a July wedding you couldn’t have asked for better weather…. not that I thought it was going to snow. It was actually a nice… I won’t say cool but not super hot, day. The girls got ready at the brides house in Washington and the ceremony and reception all took place at the Bauerhaus.
This was a day that just went so smoothly too. Everyone was on time, well actually early… even the bride. Brooke was so worried about crying cause she said, she get the ugly cry on. Didn’t think to tell her when you’re wearing a wedding dress even the ugly cry is pretty.
This wedding marked the end of a 10 week run for me. So Im looking forward to some weekend off to rest and relax. I have a few other shoots coming up so Ill have some things to post but the weekly posts will be slowing down. I wonder how these guys that blog everyday do it. I just dont have that much going on in my life.
Its amazing how fast time does go by.Its already been a couple week since Katie and Nate got married. they got married Saturday June 5th at St. Bonaface and the reception at the Scottish Rite. It was another fun day with a lot of fun people. The day went as smooth as any wedding I can remember. Katie seemed a little nervous about the ceremony but made it though it just fine. After that it was cake. We did some family photos at the church then took the wedding party downtown to play. Once we got to the reception it was all relaxed fun. As always it was a great day spend with a wonderful couple. Congrats Katie and Nate!
Caitlin and Andrew were the nicest couple. They both seemed really laid back the day of the wedding. I say “seemed laid back” cause I heard rumors that Caitlin was alittle more stressed than she looked… if so she hid it well. =) The day went very well. We started the day at Visions 3 salon where only Caitlin got her hair done, so she got all the attention. From there we went to Saphora in the mall for her to get her make up done. It was a fun time there too. Got some really neat images there. I also found me a new cologne. Well actually Allison found it and I jut happened to like it… alot!
The ceremony was at St. Matthews… didn’t know i was a Saint did you? Yeah I think my mother is rolling over in her grave right now. Anyway, after ward we went to Crest Pines golf coarse for the reception. Had a fun day photographing some really fun people. Caitlin and Andrew congratulations.
This past weekend Chastity and Nate got married at the Bauerhaus. We fortunately didn’t get rained on but it was a cold and windy day, but Chastity didn’t let that stop her from having her beautiful outdoor ceremony. This couple has such wonderful chemistry. I knew shooting their wedding was going to be so much fun after the day we shot their engagement session. They are just so into each other. Guys I hope looking at your images as much as I enjoyed taking them.
