Well I started of really good this year with my blog and now Im trailing behind. Imagine that. Lyndsi is one of my brides from about 4 years ago. Lyndsi was such a cutie on her wedding day cause she’s all of about 4′11″, I think is what she told me while her husband Donnie is like 6′1″. I’ve teased her ever since her wedding cause she wore these platform heels that looked like stripper shoes to get her some height. We for every bit of cute that she was on her wedding day she’s even more so with her baby belly. Although we did have some disagreement about that… she thought she was fat… I said it’s not fat its baby. Ill let you all be the judge… so let her know what a cute mommy to be she is. I talked to her a couple days ago and she is due any day now. Actually I think she is past due… this baby’s holding on for college we think.

This has been a wow week, despite all the rain. Starting all the way back at last saturday, Saturday a friend/client put together a small carnival for the kids for the Kool Smiles, which is a kids dentists office.  The event was call Kool wheel bring Kool Smiles.  We had the Indiana State police, Evansville police, and Vanderburgh County sheriff, along with Medical, Fire Department vehicals there for the kids to play on and look through. We also had bull dozers and dump trucks and some sprint race cars, as well as, a place for the girls to get make overs and a place for the kids to paint some master pieces. I went and spent the afetrnoon taking some photos.  I made a joke that it was different from my weddings cause it wasn’t as calm. LOL  About half way through the day we got to enjoy an performance by the Boom Squad, which I had never seen till then.  Ive gotten to see them one more since last Saturday now.

On Sunday, I told you it was a packed week and now Im backed up on my blogging. =P  Well I have another one of my past brides thats expecting her first baby.  Andrea and Cary came in Sunday afternoon for a maternity session.  Since I know Casey is reading this… No there is no pic of her and my belly.  Andrea isn’t due for about another 3 weeks but her Doc thinks she could go anytime.  So stay tuned for baby pics coming soon.

Last but defantly not least, on Tuesday evening I shot my nieces engagement session. Brandy and Bryan are getting married in November of this year.  They came in Tuesday evening and we spent a couple hours playing here in the studio and around the yard having fun shooting some photos.  So enjoy the images, there is more to come but Im going to go enjoy this beautiful day.

Thats the text message I received yesterday after one that didn’t go through the first time. Lilly was born Tueday July 1st at 11:36 am. She was 6 lbs. 18 1/2 inches long. For what its worth shes halk the size of my cat. HEHEHE Well I went to visit this afternoon and got to hold her, no pics of that. I was rather nervous having something that fragile in my big clumpsy hands. She was so cute. I’m always amazes at how small their fingers and hands are when they are that young.

I showed up with my camera in hand right when the hospital photographer showed up. It’s always alittle awkward showing up with my camera at someone elses job. But oh well.

I took off just before her dinner time. You see how peaceful she looks there. Well she didn’t get all cranky but she looked a little annoyed when mom took the pacifier out of her mouth.

Anyway, I have a client all the way till her wedding. We’ve plannedthe baby sessions, the senior pics and wedding so I got a lifer here I think.

One of my former brides is going to be a mom soon. Casey is the first of my brides to come in for a maternity session… not the first to have a baby just the first to come see me for photos. Lilly is due on the 4th of July. How cool will it be for her… the first few years she’ll think everyone is celebrating her birthday with fireworks. She’s going to think she’s the coolest person ever. Well anyway, she’ll be here soon. So I thought Id share some of the first images of her. The doctor beat me to the very first images but my camera can’t shoot through a person. = P

OK now that last one was to show you a comparison. At a nice round 42 inches… I think I still have her beat. I was so hesitant to put this image up. I think its the shirt… Im going to stop wearing that grey tshirt. It makes me look fat. LOL
