Everyone meet Brooke and Cody. They are a last minute addition to my wedding line up this year. Well last minute in that they booked me for their July 10th wedding just a couple months ago. So we did an engagement session just about a week ago. Their wedding will be the last in my 10 week run, so that gives me one more reason Im looking forward to shoot their wedding.

Last Friday I spent a couple hours with Tina and Chad shooting their engagement session.  I actually hadn’t met them till that day too.  Tina booked me totally sight unseen.  In this short time we had some good fun… we are going to have so much fun on their wedding day, bit don’t get to excited just yet.  The wedding isn’t till next May. So these are all you get of these two for a while.

This has been a wow week, despite all the rain. Starting all the way back at last saturday, Saturday a friend/client put together a small carnival for the kids for the Kool Smiles, which is a kids dentists office.  The event was call Kool wheel bring Kool Smiles.  We had the Indiana State police, Evansville police, and Vanderburgh County sheriff, along with Medical, Fire Department vehicals there for the kids to play on and look through. We also had bull dozers and dump trucks and some sprint race cars, as well as, a place for the girls to get make overs and a place for the kids to paint some master pieces. I went and spent the afetrnoon taking some photos.  I made a joke that it was different from my weddings cause it wasn’t as calm. LOL  About half way through the day we got to enjoy an performance by the Boom Squad, which I had never seen till then.  Ive gotten to see them one more since last Saturday now.

On Sunday, I told you it was a packed week and now Im backed up on my blogging. =P  Well I have another one of my past brides thats expecting her first baby.  Andrea and Cary came in Sunday afternoon for a maternity session.  Since I know Casey is reading this… No there is no pic of her and my belly.  Andrea isn’t due for about another 3 weeks but her Doc thinks she could go anytime.  So stay tuned for baby pics coming soon.

Last but defantly not least, on Tuesday evening I shot my nieces engagement session. Brandy and Bryan are getting married in November of this year.  They came in Tuesday evening and we spent a couple hours playing here in the studio and around the yard having fun shooting some photos.  So enjoy the images, there is more to come but Im going to go enjoy this beautiful day.

This has been a great weekend. Started off doing Kaylie’s bridal session on friday, Saturday I spent the late afternoon with Natasha and Mike in downtown Evansville shooting their engagement session and today I spent the afternoon with Katie and Saif in New Harmony shooting another fun engagement session. We had some great weather for these sessions too. I would say its officially shorts weather now. Natasha, Mike, and I spent a couple hours walking around downtown and at the end we went to the Jungle for drinks, which were badly needed.
Today, I got to New Harmony early and walked around a bit then realized we weren’t going to want to do that for 2 hours so I got a golf cart. We had a blast buzzing around New Harmony taking photos. It was a great way to find some places that might have gone undiscovered otherwise. After this weekend, I’m really getting antsy to start shooting.

I got to go out last Friday with Emily and Mark to shoot their engagement session.  This was my first for the year and I have to say if this is an indication of how my year is going to go.. it’s going to be a fun year.  I’ve been saying I wanted to get out of the studio and we got to go downtown and do our session.  The first part of the day it was raining which had me a little worried but I was prepared to shoot in the rain. Luckily, it cleared up and we had a great shoot. Emily was getting abit cold by the end but I think she still had fun.
