I’ve been looking forward to this wedding for awhile now.  This was a small country wedding on the grooms family farm.  I had some many fun, neat places to take photos. I had a blast shooting today.  The wedding was outside up on a small hill.  The reception was going to be outside but because they weren’t sure if it was going to rain so it got set up in the new barn.  The grooms dad hasn’t even park a tractor in this barn yet to keep it nice for the wedding.  Brandon told me at the rehearsal that there used to be an old barn there not too long ago and I was bummed the reception wasn’t in there.  Oh well.  I still had a smaller old barn to use for formals and all the guys and myself jumped in the cars and ran down the road to play in a field I saw as I was driving to the house. There was a couple of times we were wondering if it was going to rain but we never saw a drop. Everything went perfectly… no complaints at all.

We fought rain, wind, sleet, hail and split pants… well ok we had a little drizzle, a heavy breeze and the split pants. The heavy part of that drizzle hit after we were finished with out formals and quit by the end of our ceremony. We had an awesome day. Great group of people to work with. After the ceremony we went to a family lake of the grooms. Played there for about 20 minutes then went for a ride in the limo.  One of the bridesmaids picked me up at the reception hall this morning so I could ride in the limo bus with everyone. Im glad the ride was short.  I was sitting along the side and riding sideways I was starting to feel a little yucky. The reception was at St. James and everything looked gorgeous.

This has been a wow week, despite all the rain. Starting all the way back at last saturday, Saturday a friend/client put together a small carnival for the kids for the Kool Smiles, which is a kids dentists office.  The event was call Kool wheel bring Kool Smiles.  We had the Indiana State police, Evansville police, and Vanderburgh County sheriff, along with Medical, Fire Department vehicals there for the kids to play on and look through. We also had bull dozers and dump trucks and some sprint race cars, as well as, a place for the girls to get make overs and a place for the kids to paint some master pieces. I went and spent the afetrnoon taking some photos.  I made a joke that it was different from my weddings cause it wasn’t as calm. LOL  About half way through the day we got to enjoy an performance by the Boom Squad, which I had never seen till then.  Ive gotten to see them one more since last Saturday now.
