Well this is a nice repeat of last year. I was up all last night playing on the computer and listening to the ice coming down. About 3 this morning I got up and cracked my window open and listened branches on the big trees down by the creek breaking. I fell asleep somewhere around 5 am and it hadn’t started to snow at that point. In the short sleep that I got is when we got all this snow. I got up and came down to the studio to check on everything… make sure the furnace was working and no trees had landed on it. Everything was good. So like a good photographer I grabbed my camera and when out in the snow for some pics. The last pic is my neighbors dog, Rosie. You’ll see by her smile, she is loving this weather. Now I’m going to go hop on my 4 wheeler for awhile and see if I can stand this cold weather.
month: January 2009
April is a bridesmaid from a wedding I shot about 3 and half years ago. Now she’s planning her own wedding for May 2010. She came in today for a Valentine’s day gift for her fiance. Like the others I’ve done, she started off a bit nervous but warmed up quickly and absolutely loved the session by the end. She said I could share a few images with you all. So enjoy.
I got up this morning and went to Casey and Ryans house to take Lilly’s 6 month photos. It’s seems like forever that I took her photos at 2 weeks. She has grown quite a bit… just a little. While I was holding her I was looking at how small her hands and feet are and found it interesting to know they are probably 3 times the size they were at 2 weeks.
Well not the best video you’ll ever see but it was fun. Ill warn you now. I’ve been thinking of trying out the video blogging this year. Not sure if it’s going to happen yet or not. You all know how much I “love” being in front of the camera.
Moving on… I just did my second bridal show of the season. This was the Courier & Press Wedding and Prom show. It had a very nice turn out for a 1st year show. I got to meet several brides without the interruption of having to sign those papers. Other vendors know what I’m talking about. There were some really nice displays by some of the vendors. I was also pretty close to my friend Michelle from Memories by Michelle and got to pester Saundra Hadley and Aubree over at the Planning Forever booth. I didn’t get any shots of them but you got to see Aubree making faces at me in the video. She thought thought I was taking stills. LOL
So now I have Superbride to look forward to but I’m excited about this up coming year. I think it’s going to be great. One month from today Ill be heading to Vegas. Can’t wait.
Well in all the holiday chaos I almost forgot to blog my last wedding of the year. Amber and Jacob got married two days after Christmas. I told them they must have done something good that year cause the weather was so nice that day. Aside from one of the bridesmaids having a dress malfunction which took while to work out, everything went well. We didn’t get rained on during the formals after the ceremony. As luck would have it the storm didn’t hit til right when I drove into my garage that night… no joke. From what I heard from Amber the storm didn’t slow anything down.
