I’ve known Jessica since she was in high school. Her mom was my manager when I worked at Schnucks. I wonder if at some point in Jessica’s life if anyone ever said to her “You’ll be late for your own wedding”. Jessica and the girls all arrived at the hotel room to get ready and none of them were happy with their hair and make up. So they all redid their hair and make up so it put the wedding starting late. It was all good. I just had to tell the story to torment Jessica a little more about it. The wedding was at Carol’s Garden in New Harmony. The ceremony was a small family event, which made Carol’s Garden perfect.

Over the years I’ve had several people ask if I did slideshows like the ones I show at the bridal shows. My answer was No bodies ever asked but yes I can. Then they never ask when they come in into to book me. Well now I maybe able to say yes. I found a company that can do really awesome slideshows. Im doing some testing now and hopefully I will be able to add these as one of the really cool products I already offer. Let me know what you all think.
Well I went with Michelle to do a bridal/engagement session of the couple whose wedding I help with last weekend. This was fun. It was at the grooms uncles cabin, if Im right, and I got to shoot horses, 2 dogs as big as horses, and a tractor bigger than all of us. There was nothing small there.
I wasn’t going to put this image up but I thought it was a riot when you look at the dog. She looks nervous.
The last 2 are just playing around with flash which most of know Im not big on. I was looking at the work of a friend of mine from Nashville and got to talking to him a little on how he does it. Not really difficult, just looks that way but I do love the effect.
Well I wish it were a good update. If you read Michelles blog you know that her dad found the little guy in a parking garage in 95 degree heat. He was not doing very well and was under nourished. She had been bottle feeding him for the past day or so and he seemed to be doing well… chasing her son in the backyard and generally bouncing around like a kitten. Well she emailed me last night, not long after I posted about him, and said he slipped away peacefully. Said he started panting real fast then just went to sleep. I was look forward to playing with him this evening too. Well at least he got to be held and played with his last hours rather than suffering in a parking garage.
My friend Michelle, her dad left this little guy at her house the other day. He found him in the middle of the street… someone dumped him there. Michelle has nursed him back over the past couple of days. She says he’s just bouncing around now. Anyway, I think she wants to give her sister first chance at giving him a home but other than that we are hoping between all of our really sweet clients (are you feeling the sucking up?) we can find this little guy a loving home. How can you say no to a face like that?
Don’t worry that’s milk on his mouth… he not rabid. LOL
