Just a thought.

Well not a totally new blog just a new look. For those of you that are subscribers you’ll need to subscribe to this one now. I say those of you, when in fact I know there is only one. My sad little blog. LOL Shannon & Sam got married last Saturday at the Bauerhaur. It was abit cold outside that day but we shot fast. Don’t worry the wedding was indoors and we were glad it was. Anyway, I wanted to share some of the images with you so please enjoy.

There will be more to come soon. I had another wedding on Good Friday also, however, the reception is today so Ill have images from that wedding later next week. Have a good weekend.

Ok I found this list in a discussion with some other photographers and I couldn’t help but chuckle. Everything on this list applies to me. Now I just need to figure out how to get out of this pattern.

HOW TO FEEL MISERABLE AS AN ARTIST

1. Constantly compare yourself to other artists.

2. Talk to your family about what you do and expect them to cheer you on.

3. Base the success of your entire career on one project.

4. Stick with what you know.

5. Undervalue your expertise.

6. Let money dictate what you do.

7. Bow to societal pressures.

8. Only do work that your family would love.

9. Do whatever the client/customer/gallery owner/patron/investor asks.

10. Set unachievable/overwhelming goals to be accomplished by tomorrow.

This is for anyone that wanted to see the second part of the previous video.
