Ok I said Id get some images up from my last few weddings so here they are.

These frist few images are Susan and David. Susan was probably the most laid back bride I’ve ever met. I don’t think there was any possiblity of upseting her that day. She was proof that you can have a great wedding without going way over board. She wore her mothers wedding dress, which Im sure made her a lot cooler than the rest of us. The girls instead of spending money on bridesmaids dresses, that they would most likely not wear again, bought black coctail dresses that they picked out themselves. I would have never even known if Susan hadn’t told me.

They both decided to see each other before the ceremony. Which made for a nice relaxed afternoon of portraits

.

The reception was at the Pagoda and all the dancing took place on the roof under the stars.

This next wedding was Brittney and Adam. This was the day I said I could do no wrong. With the perfect soft overcast day and the historical downtown area we were in, I couldn’t have been happier from my point of veiw.

Ok I don’t normally put up Reception hall shots but I was rather impressed with the changes that Aztar made to the room. The last time I was there they had two small rooms. No they have one large one. Very nice one I might add.

Ok Ill get some more up soon. I know this new blog hasn’t been up for long but I dont think it’s going to survive. Its not quite as user friendly as the last one. I’m looking into somethat would be more than a blog. If what I’m looking at will do everything it seems to and as easily as it says, my new blog could be a whole working site in its own… Sound, pictures, slideshows. So I guess we’ll see. Have a great weekend. I’m off to shoot a recpetion tonight.

The last 3 weddings were hot. I hate winter but i think Im looking for to it this year. Maybe I’m getting less tolerant as I get older.

Anyway, I found some funny comics that I thought you’d all like. So enjoy.

This is what I do when I catch people scanning my images.

And tho think I’ve been working hard to get that kind of look.

Haven’t had this happen yet. I don’t do refunds. lol

Anyone out there giving me this kind of press?

Im still working on getting some pics up form my last weddings. Ill put a bunch up to entertain you all. Later everyone.

No I mean it… I’m on fire. My skin, which hasn’t seen the light of day in years, got to see the sun today. OUCH! I was working on an idea that tan fat would look better than white fat. Well either looks better than red fat. This is the first time I’ve had a sunburn in years. Now I remember why. Sorry no pics of this. It’s nothing you’d want to see anyway. Just thought I’d share.
Now I’m off to take a cold shower. No pics of that either. Good night everybody.

Hey sorry to any of those of you that have tried to reach me in the past couple of days. Ive been running everywhere these past 3 days. Wednesday I was at my friend Bev’s house. she’s a fellow photographer and we spent the day talking shop. That evening I went with my buddy Heath and his wife Kristi to do the Parade of Homes. It’s fun and depressing at the same time.
Thursday, Heath, Kristi, Heath’s dad Rick and myself went to Sykeston, MO to pick up our fireworks for this years show. It’s open to the public so feel free to head up. Bring a lawn chair. We do the show at about 9 pm at the pond in the campground, which is just down from my studio.
Today I went 4 wheeler riding with dad. Very therapeutic. It was a nice get away. I think Im going to pay form it tomorrow though. We were out in the sun for awhile. I havent had a sunburn in years so I think this is going to hurt.
My nieces wedding was last Saturday. Ill try and get some images or a slide show up soon. Like I said… busy week.
Anyway, more Parade of Homes tonight. Have a good weekend everyone. Enjoy Fathers day.

This was such an awesome day. I shot Brittney & Adam’s wedding today. It was downtown in Evansville, the reception was at Aztar. We couldn’t have asked for a better day. Maybe alittle cooler, but with the great light we had all day Ill deal with the heat. The lighting was so perfect I don’t think I could have taken a bad shot. Plus we were in the historical part of downtown so I could point my camera in any direction and get a great shot.

Brittney and Adam both were so cooperative. I think I could have gotten them in the river but I wasn’t going to try. lol I had such a blast shooting today. Just one of those days were I felt like I was in a zone.

Britteny I know I said this wouldnt be up until Sunday sometime, what can I say, I was looking forward to playing with these images. Enjoy this little slideshow and Ill talk to you both when you get back. Be careful and have fun.

Good night everybody!
